Clematis ‘Stand By Me’ PP30556

Bred by our friend Hans Hansen, this is more of a shrub-like (perennial-like) Clematis rather than the usual vine-type. From spring through June it gives us plenty of gorgeous blue bell-shaped flowers. It will also give a little bit of a rebloom in late summer. The frilly seedheads that appear after the flowers are also attractive. Be sure to add mulch at its base to keep its roots cool in summer.
