This bizzarly named coleus cultivar is one of our very own selections. We discovered it as a sport on the popular variety ‘Freckles’. Instead of the normal spotted and freckled leaves, they are solid rusty orange in the center with a narrow outer margin of orangish-yellow. We have found it to be a good performer and a reliable source of summer color. In case you didn’t know, a sport is when a portion of the plant mutates to a different color or form that can be removed and cloned to create a new color or type of plant. This happens a lot with coleus.
