Typically used as a water garden or bog plant, this interesting foliage specimen can also be grown in beds and containers. Little Prince is one of the most compact forms of Egyptian Papyrus. We love its interesting texture and green umbels held above its grass-like leaves. Stems of this species were used to make paper in ancient times. Occasionally called Paper rush, it is actually a sedge. This is one of those plants that fortunately doesn’t taste good to deer. Little Prince should not be confused with the Dwarf Papyrus with large umbels known as ‘Prince Tut’
