A selection of Solidago Virgata made by Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina, Golden Voices Goldenrod provides gorgeous candlesticks of yellow flowers in late summer and fall. The species is a mostly coastal one yet performs well in our inland garden. Attracting lots of pollinators when flowering, S. virgata’s common name is Wand Goldenrod. You can cut the stems back hard in late May to keep them from getting quite so tall.
