The flowers of Monarda fistulosa are usually a lavender color. We found this form of white-flowered Wild Bergamot in SE Oklahoma while searching for Giant Coneflowers one spring. The leaves on these plants are used to make mint tea. Hummingbirds, butterflies and other pollinators love its flowers. We gave it the name Sweet Lorena for a friend who has ties to that part of the state.
