Burgundy Glow has long been my favorite Ajuga. We had a good sized patch of it at the home where we lived before moving to the location here where we started the nursery. This shade loving perennial has brilliantly colored leaves of pink, green and white with touches of purplish-maroon. The brightly hued foliage makes an excellent backdrop for its electric blue spikes of spring flowers. Deer and rabbit tolerant, this low mat-like plant spreads slowly to form a living mulch on the soil surface. Ajugas can also handle a good bit of morning sun.
