Coreopsis verticillata ‘Zagreb’

Zagreb Coreopsis is a selection fo a perennial native to the southeastern United States that I?ve had great success with here dating back to my days at Oklahoma Gardening. I don?t know which is more pleasing, its bright golden-yellow daisies that cover the plant in May and June, or its dark green thread-like leaves that forms tight rounded mounds. This butterfly attracting plant fits a variety of uses in the landscape. A summer shearing after flowering will often produce a nice bloom display in the fall as well.
