We have a fondness for perennial sunflowers here at Bustani. They give the garden lots of color with their multitude of blooms. They are tall plants but since they bloom in the fall, they can be trimmed a time or two during the growing season to keep their height in check. Okie Radiance is a unique selection discovered in 2019 by one of our customers who noticed the interesting difference in its flowers. The ray florets (“petals”) are slightly quilled which make the blooms appear huge and spidery. It gives a very cool look to this tough easy to grow native perennial.
