When in bloom, Gibralter Bush Clover is a sight to behold. Its 6 inch long racemes of rose-purple pea-like flowers at the ends of its long arching stems give the appearance of a brilliant fountain of color. This is an easy to grow perennial legume that blooms profusely in late summer and fall. For best effect, cut it back to a few inches in late winter before growth begins. This elegant perennial was discovered at the historic Gibralter Estate in Wilmington, Deleware.
