Most Shasta Daisies are only fair performers in hot Southern gardens like her in Oklahoma. The selection Becky, however, is an exceptionally heat tolerant Shasta that originated in Atlanta, Georgia and does wonderful here. Its huge robust flowers, that many say are the largest of these daisies, are held atop strong sturdy stems. These butterfly-attracting blooms come on heaviest in late spring, early summer and then on and off through the fall. This plant was named for Becky Stewart of Decatur, Georgia.
