We love succulents because of their easy care. Some of them have other interesting characteristics, like the ability to produce certain scents to attract specific pollinators. Black-flowered Orbea brings in flies to pollinate its flowers, but the blooms are amazing. They are so dark maroon, they look black. The flowers also bloom in clusters so there are a lot to look at. From South Africa and Mozambique, it has thick succulent stems with angles and pointy projections known as tubercules. Grow it in a container to bring inside for winter.
