Quickly becoming popular around the country, this low-growing perennial has several attributes to warrant its addition to the garden. It has a short growth habit with foliage that is greatly resistant to powdery mildew and puts forth large clusters of rose-pink flowers in spring and summer. Some gardeners are spacing it about 18-24? apart and using it as a ground cover. Morris Berd Phlox is also an excellent candidate for a low front of the border plant. Some sources list this as the species P. triflora.
