I absolutely love passalong and heirloom plants. These are things that never made it into the horticulture trade but were shared among friends and enthusiasts for decades because they are such good plants. Jerry’s Phlox is one such perennial that I got from Loretta Arron of Oklahoma City around 2002. I’ve been growing it in my Stillwater garden ever since where it has performed brilliantly. We just love its huge flowerheads of purple-pink. I will provide more of it’s history (including the correct spelling) as I learn more.
