I once had someone fairly new to gardening ask me if Cape Plumbago was some type of large Geranium. I can see how they could confuse the two with their similar large flower clusters. Unlike a geranium, however, Cape Plumbago continues to produce its large bloom clusters through the heat of summer. We haven’t grown this awesome white variety as long as we have the blue but we are definitely in love with it. The two planted together really complement each other. Give it lots of sun and periodic watering and sit back and watch it wow you and your garden guests.
