Most of our employees here at the nursery list Green Jelly Bean Sedum as their favorite succulent. It’s easy to see why. It is ultra-cute with its short chubby and silvery-green leaves and compact habit. Also called Many Fingers Sedum, this Mexican native is best grown in a container so it can be brought inside for the winter. Some other forms of this species have leaves that turn red on their tips in summer. This form’s leaves stay more of a glaucous-blue year-round. This species is one of the parents (along with Sudm morganianum) used in the creation of the hybrid ‘Giant Burrow’s Tail’.
